Season Crossing
Every year has those specific days where you notice the seasons crossing. Monday was unmistakeably much warmer than any day of last week. A drastic change from what we had been getting.
Easter Monday
I picked up Ieu and Flo from my parents to go for a walk up Twmbarlwm. Like I said, it was gorgeous weather. A lot of people had the same idea. You could see for miles. We had a nice walk up and back down then retreated back to my parents for a hearty cooked dinner.
Out of the blue, the rest of the Esuna guys messaged saying they were all free and up for doing something. We all met up and indulged in the greatest pleasure together. We watched the new Spongebob movie. I was obviously not disappointed. It was such a wacky movie. Afterwards we wandered around in the sun, got some beers and headed back to Claude Rd for a ROHy night. It was the first time in a while that reminded me of old times. Walking around with mates and loitering in parks.

There is this spot that someone on the /r/cardiff subreddit had suggested in a thread called 'Places to have sex outdoors in Cardiff'. While it seemed like a good idea, it still looked like a nice place to check out and wander about as the weather was changing. The place is called Cwm George & Casehill Woods and is just west of Cardiff and north of Dinas Powys. I had missed it twice on the drive down, but it was so nice that I just drove down the lanes and only turned back when I came to a main road. I wish I had the money for petrol so I really could keep driving without looking at the GPS for once.

It was refreshing walking around the woods. There's something about walking around in the woods with no goal that's comforting. Funnily enough, I was caught talking to myself walking down the path and did the ol' pretend-to-be-on-the-phone trick. He looked uncomfortable and possibly thought I was schizophrenic. It was a nice reminder to explore and not stick with the familiar.
The trip ended with me stopping at Asda, having a browse and buying a shirt, t-shirt, two cinnamon swirls and some rabbit food. Turns out that you can't use your Tesco clubcard there. A fitting end, I would say.
